About

Christine Daniels, PhD is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Daniels received her B.S. in Anthropology with a concentration in Human Biology and a minor in Global Health from Emory University. Dr. Daniels subsequently received her PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University.


Following her graduate studies, Dr. Daniels worked as a business development researcher for Heat Biologics, where she helped identify promising early-stage therapeutics. Dr. Daniels recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University’s Human Vaccine Institute where her research focused on the development of novel HIV vaccine candidates using nanoparticles as a delivery platform.


 In her current role, Dr. Daniels works in the biopharmaceutical industry to develop gene therapies and other immunebased therapeutics. Additionally, Dr. Daniels is involved in multiple outside projects that aim to improve vaccine literacy and encourage underrepresented minorities to pursue higher education and careers in STEM fields.
